The first BSA Handbook for Boys, published in August 1911, declared that '...no boy can grow into the best kind of citizen without recognizing an obligation to God'

• Scouts will receive information about the various religious awards recognized by BSA.
• Learn more about the 12th point of the Scout Law" 'A Scout is Reverent' and what is 'Duty to God' while growing in one's own faith
• Learn for yourself, and with other scouts and scouters, how your particular faith religious programs work and how you can get started on earning your religious emblems for your faith.
