Vermont Distinguished Citizen of the Year - Christopher Barbieri

We are pleased to inform you that the Green Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America has selected Christopher Barbieri to receive its Distinguished Citizen Award as this year’s most inspiring example of citizenship and service to others.  Our dinner committee is being chaired by John Boutin Publisher of the Vermont Business Magazine.  We would like to personally invite you to attend and help us honor all the contributions to Vermont of Christopher Barbieri.

The Dinner will be held on Tuesday, October 7 at the Sheraton Hotel in Burlington, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. 

This dinner is an opportunity to raise much needed funds and awareness for the Boy Scout program in Vermont and highlight the inspiring example of citizenship & leadership for our Scouts to follow. A contribution of $1,250 will reserve a table of ten; individual tickets are $125.  There are also opportunities for program book ads and congratulatory notes.  As a past table sponsor, we have a special additional gift for you.  You will be listed in a congratulatory ad that will be run in the Vermont Business Magazine.

We hope you will take this opportunity to support the Boy Scouts of America and at the same time honor Christopher Barbieri’s contributions to Vermont.  With your help, the Boy Scouts will continue to instill the values, character traits and leadership skills our youth will need as they assume their role as leaders in our society.
