Camp Sunrise Boat House Campaign
Camp Sunrise holds a special place in the heart of everyone that has attended the camp over the years. The Green Mountain Council has worked hard this year to start the process of upgrading the facilities at Camp Sunrise. During the winter the roof on the Dining Hall was stripped and replaced. This project alone cost the Council over $50,000. We are committed to making sure that Camp Sunrise is available to future generations of Cub Scouts.
Due to a generous donation of the Dr. Michael & Susan Dick Family of Rutland, we are also going to replace the Camp Sunrise Boat House. The old Boat House is gone and we are in the process of building a new one. We are now trying to match the gift of the Dick Family. Our hope is that each Pack in the Council will be able to contribute to the New Arthur Dick Aquatic Center.
A plaque will be hung in the building acknowledging the gifts that allowed this project to happen. We are asking you to consider a personal, corporate or Unit gift to help us make the Boat House project happen this summer.
