Green Mountain Council offers year-round Scouting events for youth and families across Vermont. Through these events, Scouts explore the outdoors, learn practical skills, meet new friends, and build confidence.
Cub Scouts
Cub Scout events combine hands-on learning with fun, age-appropriate activities. Most importantly, these programs give children opportunities to try new skills in a safe and supportive environment.
For example, Cuboree events may include outdoor challenges, games, crafts, and friendly competitions. As Scouts participate, they can complete adventures while spending time with other Cub Scouts and families.
Webelos Woods also helps Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts prepare for the next stage of Scouting. During this outdoor experience, Scouts practice camping skills and learn from experienced leaders and Scouts BSA members.
In addition, Cub Scout day camps and resident camps offer more opportunities for outdoor discovery. Depending on the program, Scouts may explore nature, create crafts, play games, practice target sports, and complete advancement activities.
Autumn Adventure and the Scouting Salute to Veterans Parade provide even more ways for families to participate. Together, these events help Cub Scouts build friendships, confidence, and excitement for Scouting.
