Scouts BSA, Venturers, and Explorers
Scouts BSA, Venturing and Exploring events give young people opportunities to lead, solve problems, and test their abilities. As a result, Scouts develop skills they can use in their troops, schools, and communities.
Camporees bring units together for camping, competitions, and shared activities. During these events, Scouts work as patrols while practicing teamwork, leadership, and outdoor skills.
During the colder months, Winter Trek introduces Scouts to winter activities and cold-weather skills. Likewise, ski and snowboard weekends allow troops to enjoy Vermont’s winter landscape while sharing an active outdoor experience.
Summer camp offers another important part of the Scouts BSA program. Throughout camp, Scouts can work toward advancement, explore new interests, build independence, and create lasting memories.
Finally, the Scouting Salute to Veterans Parade gives Scouts an opportunity to honor those who served. By participating, Scouts can practice citizenship while supporting their local communities.
