Summer Camps

From first campfires to big challenges, our summer camps give Scouts experiences they can’t get at home—and memories that last a lifetime.  The Green Mountain Council hosts multiple summer camp programs at Mt. Norris Scout Reservation in Eden, VT.

Rank Advancement

Every Scouting activity moves young people toward the basic aims of character development, citizenship training, leadership, and mental and physical fitness.

Advancement is one of the eight methods used by Scout leaders to help youth fulfill the aims of Scouting America. Scout leaders need to understand the mechanics, policies and procedures of Advancement. Scouting America has published the Guide to Advancement for this purpose.

Annual Renewal

Scouting America provides an online process for membership renewals. Below are several resources to help ensure a smooth and efficient renewal experience. All members registered with Scouting America must complete this process annually.

Individual Renewals

Arrow of Light to Scouts BSA

Congratulations! Completing the Arrow of Light award and crossing over to Scouts BSA is a big milestone and exciting transition.  These resources are designed to help families find the right troop to fit their needs and understand the process.

Life to Eagle

Scouts take many paths on their journey through Scouting but the ultimate achievement is earning Eagle Scout.  We've put together key information to help your Scout prepare for a stress free transition from Life to Eagle.

Financial Aid

Thanks to the generosity of donors, we have a designated financial assistance fund for youth in need who want to attend Green Mountain Council Summer Camps.
